The "Solid North" Leads 2025 Midterm Party-list Survey

The recently formed "Solid North" party-list has become the front-runner among top choices among party-lists for the upcoming 2025 elections.

In a October survey conducted by "Tangere" from October 1-4, 2024, results show that the Solid North Party-list is gaining popularity among voter support from 44 party-lists with a high probability of securing representation in the House of Representatives.

According to the Tangere survey, the Solid North Party-list is projected to win a seat in the House, marking a significant milestone compared to veteran party-list groups such as ACT-CIS, 4Ps, and Ako Bicol. Also vying for seats are Malasakit@Bayanihan, Agri Party-list, and FPJ Panday Bayanihan.
The Tangere survey used a sample of 2,400 respondents using a “mobile-based respondent application” and a stratified random sample method.

According to Solid North chairman and national president of the League of Municipalities of the Philippines, La Paz, Abra Mayor JB Bernos Ching Bernos, this survey result is a great privilege and serves as an indication of mandate. If given the chance to gain a legislative seat, he noted, they will devote all their efforts to public service.

The Solid North Party-list represents an estimated 15 provinces in northern Luzon, specifically in Regions 1, 2, the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), and three additional Luzon provinces, embodying the identity of "Timpuyog ti Amianan" or "Unity in the North."

The main goal of Solid North is to ensure that development projects in the northern part of the country are felt and realized.
Tangere Chief Executive Officer Martin Peñaflor remarked that the survey results reflect the significant support of voters in party-list groups focused on the welfare of underserved communities, particularly those addressing the needs of farmers and the agricultural community.
